Longtime friends Larry Caplin and Mike Heridia were planning on opening a private clubhouse for friends and decided they needed a high quality breakfast and lunch place in the area. They decided that if they were going to open a restaurant,  it was going to serve the kind of breakfast that people stand in line for to get when you are down in New Orleans. They tracked down a Louisiana trained chef, Ian McClain, who understood cajun and creole cuisine and picked a menu that you just can't get anywhere else unless you're in New Orleans. The venue will also be available to rent for a special engagements, weddings or private parties.
